We need your help!
Our Foundation needs your help! With our team of committed volunteers, we do everything we can to provide refugees a pleasant day in the form of daytime activities at one of our locations.
How do we do this?
Our foundation runs on volunteers who take our vision to heart. Our working method is to provide daytime activities at one of our locations. We pick up the people with buses that are driven by volunteers. The driver then drives to one of our locations, where they can carry out a daytime activity of their choice without pressure. This could be a craft such as woodworking, metalworking, micro-level farming, or a hobby; such as making music, sports, in other words: everything is possible. This is of course supervised by our volunteers. We ensure that an emergency response officer is always present during the activities.
The activities consist of half-days. This means that in the morning a group is picked up who can perform their craft/hobby between 8.00 and 12.00, then this group is taken back and the second group is picked up who can perform their craft/hobby between 13.00 and 17.00. We are fully aware that our target group may be dealing with PTSD or other psychological complaints, and that is one of the reasons why we seek contact with the COA, confidential advisers and psychiatrists to be able to guide these people to a more pleasant well-being.
For this we need your help. Our goal is to open several locations in the short term in order to subsequently be able to facilitate more and more people in multiple provinces.
